Dudes in Dating App (Part 2)
I push all cyberspace dudes away, and I pull myself closer to God.
Change plan. The fourth guy, surprisingly is an acquaintance. When I traced him, and recognise a mutual in one of his social medias, I promptly call this mutual. Long story short, they used to work together back in 2018/2019, with politics related occupation. That’s why the fourth guy seems into politics. My friend said he’s very good at media monitoring, in which that was also my job when I was an intern at the central bank.
Thus, I decided, to get him off. Considering his intellegency and networking, he’s too precious to be my ‘research object.’ Moreover, we have a very similar taste in music, which is super rare. So, I asked my friend to introduce me to him in real life someday, probably next year, or this year if three of us are in the same town. This guy, can be my new bestie, or professional colleague.
The second guy tried to keep in touch yet I keep a distance. By giving laconic replies, I bet he understands that I no longer have further interest. The third guy give a short chat last Wednesday, but then faded away. That’s okay, I need to keep distance from ‘everyone’ during this holly month.
Well, since I got 10 voters in twitter, I still wanna write either short stories or novellette about “dudes in dating apps”. I could interview some sources and read some articles and research. Any plot idea?
